Our favorite cut and strongest new trend of the season is the bob cut. It can look messy or even asymmetrical – make it your own, with or without bangs. The summer 2008 bob is layered and soft, never harsh or sharp.

Soft Color

Natural looking dirty blonde or bleached platinum, either way the harsh streaks of obvious highlighting are over. Highlights are luminous, adding rich depth, catching the light a thousand different ways.

The Ponytail

Ponytails worn high and low are not just at this beach this summer. The simplest tie back style ever shows off medium or long hair and highlights elegant make-up and healthy skin.

Layered Long Hair – Wavy or Sleek

Long, layered hair is still very much in style and lets you try ponytails, braids and dramatic up-dos. Blowing drying hair to achieve a smooth, shiny finish looks beautiful. Pin or rag curls tied loosely achieves a tussled, wavy look.

The ultra short crop cut with side-swept bangs makes a dramatic statement.
