With the holidays fast approaching, I am definitely seeing my clients wanting a return to glamour for all the holiday parties they will be attending. Whether their hair is styled in big, luscious waves or elegant chignons (low-placed updo/bun) - it is a returned need for hair this season.

A great tip for a simple, yet elegant chignon...

Secure the hair in a low ponytail. Create a very loose braid in the hair that is from the ponytail and secure with a rubberband. Softly spread the braid out a bit and then wrap the braid around the rubberband to create the bun. Tuck the end of the braid into the ponytail central base area and secure with bobby pins. Add a beautiful brooch to one side of the chignon to really finish it off - to glam it up.
