Help I wear my hair natural, I have now had it braided for a year and a half. I wanted to wear it stright but I WILL NOT PUT CHEMICALS IN IT. I want to flat Iron it but I need something that will not allow it to frizz or go back nappy being I live in Texas and sweat in my head can someone please please advise me HELP.

Well, you are going to have to use some sort of chemical service in order to counteract the frizz that you speak of. You can definitely use a flat iron daily, as well as a protective product. However, this is something that will be effected by the humidity. The more humidity in the air, the less likely this will remain straight. So, the recommendation would be to receive an Anti-Curl service or a Relaxer service. This will relax your natural texture and give you a look closer to what you are after.
Also, since it is a chemical service - it will not be effected by the weather. I also would recommend that you contact your trusted salon professional - they will be able to give you the options in more detail. Good luck! |
