Copyright Policy
BeautyStaffs policy on copyrights pertains to text and image files used
for business listing service in BeautyStaffs website. BeautyStaffs’
policy stems from the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
BeautyStaffs business listing service is an information location tool
that is applicable to online copyright infringement liability
limitation. This Act creates limitations on the liability of online
service providers for copyright infringement when engaging in certain
types of activities.
BeautyStaffs protects a copyright owner’s right to protect their
properties and provides adequate support for them. Once a copyright
owner submits a letter, BeautyStaffs will investigate the claim per the
DMCA and remove the allegedly infringing material, if appropriate.
For BeautyStaffs to investigate claims of alleged copyright
infringement, the copyright owner must provide the following information
in a signed letter on company stationery:
- Identify in sufficient detail the copyrighted work that you
believe has been infringed.
- Identify the material that you claim is infringing the
copyrighted work listed in item #1 above. This requires you to
provide the URL for each allegedly infringing ad.
- Provide information reasonably sufficient to permit BeautyStaffs
to contact you.
- Provide information, if possible, sufficient to permit
BeautyStaffs to notify the owner of the listed business that
allegedly contains infringing material.
