Dr. Zandi has been practicing in Fremont , California since 1974 and has performed more than 16,000 plastic and cosmetic surgeries. Since 1977, he has been certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
His philosophy of patient care is simple: Every patient deserves the proper result. He takes the extra effort and time necessary to achieve it. In Dr. Zandi's practice, there are no shortcuts. .
“Whom would you send your loved ones to?” The country's most respected physicians were asked this question. Their responses were compiled in “The Best Doctors in America ,” a national directory which includes Dr. Zandi. He is also listed in “San Francisco Magazine 2005” as one of best plastic surgeons in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Dr. Zandi's devotion to plastic surgery began in medical school. The difficult curriculum and competitive environment did not deter his decision to become a plastic surgeon. After seven years in premed and medical school, Dr. Zandi completed his internship at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey in 1967. A five-year residency in general surgery followed his internship at Long Island Hospital in Brooklyn , New York . He then completed his two-year residency in plastic surgery at Allentown Hospital in Allentown , Pennsylvania .
Dr. Zandi has delivered many lectures at medical conferences and authored numerous articles in plastic surgery journals. Twice his reports covered innovative plastic surgery techniques that had not been reported before in medical publications.
In 1986, the city of Fremont gave its “Friend of the Year” award to Dr. Zandi for performing reconstructive surgeries on children in Mexico . He was also recognized by the city of Puerto Penasco , Mexico.
Dr. Zandi performs the majority of his operations at his private, state-of-the-art, accredited surgery center. |
